Some secrets are deadly. It's no secret that Sundew wants to destroy the HiveWings. It's her life's mission to exact revenge on the tribe that tried to wipe out the LeafWings and ripped every tree from the surface of Pantala. Every tree, that is, except the wild and dangerous Poison Jungle, where the surviving LeafWings have been hiding since the war. Hiding, plotting, and waiting for a dragon like Sundew, who is uniquely qualified to bring down the Hives.
There are dark secrets in the jungle, though-some that Sundew is keeping, and some that she's only just beginning to discover. And now that a new war is upon them, Sundew and her friends must unearth the oldest secret in the jungle-even if what they find has the power to destroy them all. The first story arc in the 1 New York Times bestselling epic series is now available as an ebook collection!
A war has been raging between the dragon tribes of Pyrrhia for years. Now, I've got unknown, extremely rich enemies on all sides, a mysterious woman with strange magic and compound eyes, and a guild to save. They brought their war to my home. It's only fair I return the favor. Hive Knight is book 1 of the Trinity of the Hive series, the first in a dark fantasy series by Grayson Sinclair.
Hive Knight features a dystopian real world and a gritty, bleak and immersive VR world. Disclaimer: Not for the faint of heart or those with weak constitutions roll a saving throw. Doesn't contain a harem. Contains graphic violence, dark themes, explicit language, and sex scenes. At the heart of every bee hive is a queen bee.
Since her well-being is linked to the well-being of the entire colony, the ability to find her among the residents of the hive is an essential beekeeping skill. QueenSpotting celebrates the unique, fascinating life of the queen bee chronicles of royal hive happenings such as The Virgin Death Match, The Nuptual Flight — when the queen mates with a cloud of male drones high in the air — and the dramatic Exodus of the Swarm from the hive.
Fascinating, fun, and instructive, backyard beekeepers and nature lovers alike will find reason to return to the pages again and again. On a world where high school test scores determine your future, six students rebel.
They'll outrun society as fast as their questionably obtained spaceship will take them. Rhiannon doesn't technically cheat the Test. She's smarter than the computers that administer it, and she uses that to her advantage.
She emerges from Test Day with the most prestigious future career possible: Hive Queen. Gwyn and Victor are madly in love, but their Test results will tear them apart. Good thing Rhiannon is Gwyn's best friend. Rhiannon can fix this. Queens can do anything. Gavin is the wild card. Raised off-planet, he can't wait to leave again The Ceridwen's Cauldron. Both Luciano and Alan fit in the system. They don't need to leave. Only their devotion to Rhiannon spurs them to join the Cauldron's crew.
Anywhere but here. The war for survival of the planet Lusitania will be fought in the heart of a child named Gloriously Bright. On Lusitania, Ender found a world where humans and pequininos and the Hive Queen could all live together; where three very different intelligent species could find common ground at last. Or so he thought. Lusitania also harbors the descolada, a virus that kills all humans it infects, but which the pequininos require in order to become adults.
The Starways Congress so fears the effects of the descolada, should it escape from Lusitania, that they have ordered the destruction of the entire planet, and all who live there. But sometimes in her nightmares he still managed to mess with her friends. So if he ever lost his powers, so would everyone else? Tsunami grinned with all her teeth. And smart. And totally heroic, no prophecies required. I wish we could go scout it out and see if there is a way we can help her. I did think of this. Books accepted you the way you were and shared all their secrets with you. Books never told you to stop asking questions or accused you of being nosy and annoying.
She especially liked nonfiction: lots of facts and things had to make sense. If a question came up, eventually you got the answer. Every mystery was solved by the end. Facts fit together. When you wanted something explained, there it was, with no whispering or cold stares or slammed doors. Another thing she liked about books was the fact that one of them had probably saved her life. She just wanted to see it again, even if only for a moment.
Other author's books: The Dragonet Prophecy.
